The Hong Kong Chinese Medical Association Ltd. (HKCMA) kick-started a signature drive for names of healthcare organizations and of individual healthcare professionals who would like to publicly show our heartfelt gratitude to the Mainland healthcare workers who have travelled to Hong Kong to help fight this 5th wave in Hong Kong in the form of a newspaper advertisement in three local newspapers: Sing Tao Daily (星島日報), Hong Kong Economic Journal (信報) and Ta Kung Pao (大公報).
A total of 18 organizations, including the HKCMA, as well as over 150 individual healthcare workers, supported this drive and together we posted a front page full page advertisement in Sing Tao Daily (星島日報), and inside full page advertisement in Hong Kong Economic Journal (信報) and Ta Kung Pao (大公報), all on 22 March 2022.
This is followed by two more similar advertisements in Hong Kong Economic Journal (信報) on 25 March and 28 March 2022 respectively.
In this precious show of solidarity among Hong Kong healthcare professionals, there are doctors, nurses, Chinese medicine practitioners, pharmacists, radiographers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and laboratory technicians, all joining hands to thank our Mainland healthcare workers for their selfless dedication to fight the 5th wave for Hong Kong people.
